A completely validated method based on HPLC coupled with photodiode array detector (HPLC-UV) was used for evaluating and controlling quality of YCHT[17]. First, HPLCUV fingerprint chromatogram of YCHT was established for preliminarily elucidating amount and chromatographic trajectory of chemical constituents in YCHT. Second, for the first time, five mainly bioactive constituents (Figure2(a)) in YCHT were simultaneously determined based on fingerprint chromatogram for a further controlling of the quality of YCHT quantitatively.
